Ylioppilaslehti, founded in 1913, is one of the world’s oldest and most widely distributed student magazines in Finnish. The magazine talks about interesting people and phenomena in society, culture and student life before other media have caught up to them, and constantly offers new, shocking perspectives on world affairs.
As a member of the Alumni Association, you get a subscription to the magazine at a 35 % discount for €25 / year (regular price €39 / year). The subscription includes 4 print issues delivered by mail.
NOTE: Ylioppilaslehti will not be published in print in the fall of 2026, during which time the magazine’s alumni offer will also be on hiatus. Ylioppilaslehti will return in one form or another in 2027 – in the meantime, you can stay up to date with the magazine’s news and updates by joining Ylkkärin salaseura.
