The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra (RSO) is the orchestra of the Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle), and its mission is to produce and promote Finnish musical culture. RSO offers annually changing discounts to the Alumni.
Members of the Alumni Association get a 10 % discount on regularly priced tickets for concerts arranged in Musiikkitalo concert venue during spring 2024 and the season 2024–2025, excluding guest performances. Purchase limit for discounted tickets is a maximum of 2 tickets/person/concert. Single ticket sales for the autumn season 2024 begin on August 14, 2024, and for the spring season 2025 on December 9, 2024.
As a member you will also get a special price on season tickets for the Friday Series 2024–25. The discounted price is €400 / €350 / €250 (normal price €434 / €373 / €288) depending on the seat category I–III and is applied only for the regular priced tickets (not for pensioner and student tickets). Season tickets are sold from 15 May to 5 August 2024 and the purchase limit for discounted season tickets is a maximum of 2 tickets per person.
Starting with the autumn season, the prices always include the Musiikkitalo service fee as well as cloakroom fee. Membership of the Alumni Association must be proven on request with a valid membership card when visiting the concert.
You can buy the concert tickets from Musiikkitalo ticket office (opening hours Mon–Fri 9–18, Sat 10–17). Please, show your membership card to get the alumni discount. Starting with the autumn season, tickets can also be bought on RSO’s own online store. To get the membership discount you need a discount code which you can ask for at the Alumni Association’s office.
