Join the webinair hosted by VTT to learn more about biotechnological pathways to turn industrial side streams into higher value products using the tools of synthetic biology. Research Professor Merja Penttilä and Research Team Leader Jussi Jäntti from VTT will present several case studies and discuss the benefits of biological routes, valorization of waste streams, from cell design to piloting and prospects of biointelligent manufacturing
Examples include raw materials such as pectin and organosolv-treated lignocellulose. We will also discuss the opportunities and challenges of different raw materials and how these were overcome using biology.
